Now, let's open up the Twitter app here. The first thing we're going to do is tap on your profile icon at the top left. From here, let's tap on your profile and check to see if your number of followers basically have increased or decreased over time. Check to see if there's any issues with that. Basically, if it is standing still and not increasing or not decreasing, that might be an indication that you have a shadow ban.
Another one is to tap on the search icon at the bottom left. Then on here, we're going to tap on search and we're going to search for your username on Twitter. So mine is just my name here, Trevor nce. What you're going to be looking for is that essentially your profile pops up at the very top. If it doesn't, if someone else's random profile pops up at the top, that's an indication that you have been shadow banned.
Then another thing I'm going to do is just type in my name here and hit search. Now that I've typed in my name, you should be able to see your profile appear here at the top. If I scroll through here, I'm going to look for various posts that I have posted. So I can go to latest or people or photos. Let's say photos here and you're going to look to see if those are specific photos or videos or whatever it may be that you posted yourself. Again, this is a good indication that you're a shadowman.
If you are, let's just go back here, say cancel and tap on your profile at the top left. Then tap on settings and support. We will tap on help center here. By opening up the help center, essentially what you can do is you can basically contact the help. Let me hit refuse here, contact, or search for a specific support ticket. Or you can go down and you can see rules and policies. Basically, if you have not followed their rules or policies in terms of following or unfollowing or liking or retweeting or anything like that, if you have any issues with your basically, you can look throughout the help center and these articles to see if you violated any of these rules.
