How many outgoing IPs does ProxyMesh have?

ProxyMesh currently offers 10 outgoing IPs at each of its proxy server locations, totaling 170 IPs. Since these IPs rotate every 12 hours, users effectively have access to 20 IPs per location per day, which gives 340 IPs per day. The open proxies server may have anywhere from 100 to over 1000 IPs, and the world proxy server has around 25,000 IPs.

How often do ProxyMesh IP addresses change?

ProxyMesh's main proxy server locations rotate IP addresses every 12 hours. This means 340 different IPs are available every day, and the IP rotation is staggered to avoid all IPs changing at once. The open proxies change at a rate of around 100 per hour, while the world proxy IPs change rarely.

Will ProxyMesh work for scraping Google, Craigslist, or LinkedIn?

ProxyMesh may not be suitable for scraping platforms like Google, Craigslist, or LinkedIn, or for SEO-related scraping. These websites often have strict anti-scraping measures that can be challenging to bypass with standard proxies.

Does ProxyMesh require a VPN?

No, ProxyMesh does not require a VPN. It uses the standard HTTP protocol, which allows any HTTP client to access the proxy servers without needing a VPN.

Does ProxyMesh support the SOCKS protocol?

Currently, ProxyMesh only supports the HTTP protocol. SOCKS protocol is not supported at this time.

Does ProxyMesh support HTTPS/SSL sites?

Yes, ProxyMesh supports HTTPS/SSL sites through the HTTP proxy using the CONNECT method. All communication between your client and the secure site is encrypted. However, since the proxy server cannot inspect HTTPS requests, authentication headers and custom ProxyMesh headers must be sent with the initial CONNECT request. IP-based authentication is recommended. End-to-end HTTPS support will be added in the future.
