Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel! My name is Jade. I'm here to help you grow your online presence, multiply your streams of income, and create profitable businesses. If you're new to my channel and you're interested in any of those three topics, then I recommend hitting the subscribe button so that you don't miss the content that I release every single week.
Today's video, I'm focusing on YouTube. Yay, I absolutely love YouTube. YouTube changed my life. Like YouTube is my baby. So what I'm talking about specifically today are mistakes that people are making on YouTube which is preventing them from growing. And I know these mistakes firsthand. I made these mistakes in the very beginning of my YouTube career. However, it's the fact that I was able to notice that these things were the wrong thing to do and to stop making those mistakes super early during my time on YouTube which led to me being able to gain around 40,000 subscribers in just under a year.
Another reason why your YouTube channel might not be growing is that your content takes too long to get to the point. Now I've been a victim of this on many occasions where I just sit and I babble when I babble, and it takes me too long to get to the point of the video. What people don't realize is that by taking too long to get to the point of the video, they are massively increasing the chances of people dropping off the video completely.
On the flip side, another mistake that you might be making is that there is no point. Like maybe there is no point to your content, and that's a problem. What sometimes happens is that we see these huge like creators who can literally upload anything, they can upload just them taking their dog for a walk and then talking about absolute nonsense and receive hundreds of thousands of views, and that tricks us into thinking that we can do the same thing.
Another crucial mistake you might be making is that your content is not optimized for SEO. SEO stands for search engine optimization, and it's essentially the system that powers YouTube search engine because YouTube is of course owned by Google, and the system that powers Google search engine is literally SEO, it's search engine optimization. I've got a whole video on it, what I'm going to link to up here, but for the sake of this video, the main thing that I want to tell you to do is to start using TubeBuddy.
