My YouTube channel right here only has 56,000 subscribers, and it generates for me around $20,000 per month. In fact, my second month with this channel, I only had 7,000 subscribers, and it still generated for me $26,7N2. And it's all because I've discovered a three-step system that anyone can use to make money on YouTube. All you need to do is number one: choose a hobby that you love, number two: make videos about it, and number three: use a unique YouTube money strategy that I found that allows you to make money with very few subscribers. For example, this channel that I'm showing right here only had 6,000 subscribers, but it used this exact three-step system that I'm about to share to start making $50,000 a month after only 6 months on YouTube. Plus, I'm going to show you how to get started with nothing but your smartphone and a $20 microphone from Amazon. Okay, so let's go to step one. This is all about picking your Niche.
Now, you might think you already know how to do this, but in order for this strategy to work, you need to pick a very specific type of niche. In order to discover this Niche, the first thing you need to do is open up a document on your computer or get a piece of paper out and just start writing down all of your skills, passions, and hobbies—anything that you know a lot about or feel confident about. For example, it could be something about playing the guitar, video games, knitting, or even something about your career, a job you've had in the past. But the key is making sure that it's something that you can make educational content about. And don't worry about if you're a good teacher or not. I'm going to show you how to do this very easily in just a second. A great example of a niche like this would be guitar. If you enjoy playing guitar, chances are you could show someone else some very simple tips and tricks about how to play the guitar. Now, this is all going to make sense when I get to step three, but for now, just make sure and circle on that list that you made any niches that fit that criteria. And it's worth noting you don't have to be an amazing expert about it—you just have to know a little bit more than other people, or a little bit more than the average person. And it's important that you're also passionate about it and you have a lot to say about it. But as long as it fits those criteria, you're going to be able to make some good money with this. Once you've picked the niche, go over to YouTube and just do a search for the niche in the search bar. And what we're looking for is if we do a search for our Niche, do we see videos in there that have gotten over 100,000 views in the past year? This will tell us people are wanting to watch videos about this on YouTube. And if you go over to filters like I'm doing right here, you can actually filter the results so it'll only show videos in the past year. And as you can see in this specific Niche, there are videos with millions of views in the past year on this topic. So that confirms for me that this would be a great Niche to get started in on YouTube. But first, I have to teach you how to pick specific video topics within that Niche that are going to go viral.
You see, most people that try to start off on YouTube, they kind of just go with their gut. But that's why most of their videos don't perform. In fact, a very small percentage actually go viral, and the reason why is because big channels like Mr. Beast follow a completely different strategy that almost guarantees that their videos are going to go viral. And I'm going to show you that strategy right now. What they look for are videos that are called outliers. An outlier is a video that gets way more views than average for a particular channel. So they're looking for channels that are maybe a little bit smaller and then have a couple of videos that just completely blow up. And what that tells you is that that particular topic is extremely hot. Even a smaller Creator was able to generate massive video views because of a certain topic being extremely popular. And once they find these outlier videos, then they recreate those videos in their channel because they know that there's a very high chance of that video going viral for them as well. For example, you see this video on the left that was created 2 years before Mr. Beast's video. You can see here that he noticed that this particular topic was going to generate a lot of interest, and you can see he basically recreated this video in his own channel, even copying the thumbnail idea. This one idea is used by the biggest creators to completely go viral on YouTube. And once you understand it, you're going to be able to go viral as well. So let me tell you specifically how to find these outlier videos. First, what I want you to do is go to this YouTube search bar and just type in the niche, and again, we're going to filter my videos posted in the last year.
The best thing is, we can do this for every channel in our Niche and find outlier videos from each channel that are going to have a much better chance of going viral if we do that topic ourselves. Now, once you found these outlier videos, you're not simply going to recreate the videos. What you need to do is think about how you could improve that video and make it your own, but most importantly, make it better. For example, can you make a similar video but make it a little bit longer with more detailed information? Or can you tackle this video topic from an angle that's a little easier to understand? You could also make this video more entertaining. If you can answer yes to one of those three questions, you've just found your next viral topic.
Now, you might say, 'Oh, that sounds great. I'd love to have my own product, but I don't have my product, and I don't really have the time to make it.' So that might be something you want to do eventually down the road, but there's a much quicker way and easier way that you can start making money selling products off of your YouTube videos right now. And that's through something called affiliate marketing. That's where you're selling someone else's product, and every time someone buys the product, you get a small percentage of the sale. One of the easiest ways that I know to do this is to go to a website called clickbank.com. This is an affiliate website that's going to give us hundreds and hundreds of products to choose from. I've been using this website for years promoting different products from it.
If you're looking for a more autopilot business model that'll generate money for you whether you're working or not, you really owe it to yourself to click on the link in the description of this video. I have a free class there that teaches a totally different business model. It actually uses Google Maps. But the good thing about it is there's some work at the beginning setting up the system like I teach you, but after that, the system just continues to generate money whether you're working or not. And you can use your time then to spend with your family or to pursue your hobbies or whatever you want to do. In fact, I taught this to my 13-year-old daughter, and she made $110,000 working only about one hour per week. She had no previous experience, and she did the whole thing while she was just in high school. Again, all you have to do is click on the link in the description of this video, and you can learn all about that autopilot business model that I just talked about. Talk to.
