Creating a Vision Board for 2023 Using Pinterest's Shuffles App

Guys, it is December. As I'm sure you're all aware, and as such, I have been in full planning mode for 2023. Now, I have a confession. Every single year, I go into full planning mode like long before I even had this business, right? And during that time, I would be so committed to this idea of creating a vision board. However, I have never successfully created one, at least one that I've used because the idea of like sitting down with like my glue stick and like magazine cut outs and printing things out just doesn't appeal to me. So that I tried to create one digitally and up until now, I've always failed. Now, I'm really excited because I have got a solution to that problem. And that solution is Pinterest's new app which is called Shuffles. Now, I will be showing you exactly the process that I'm going to follow to create my vision board for 2023 using the Shuffles app. If you've not heard of the app before, don't worry. I'm going to include a link for you to get the app in my description. As I mentioned, it's brand new, it's by Pinterest, and it allows you to create like mood boards and collages and brings them more to life. So let me stop talking and I'm just gonna bring you along with me as I create my vision board for 2023.

Using Notes for Vision Board Inspiration

Okay, so to kick off I wanted to look at some of the notes that I've written in my journal just to help you know trigger some visions and get me in the mood. So some of the things that I want to focus on next year are traveling and my business, and for someone else, it might be their career or their job, my home lifestyle, and then also relationships as well. With that in mind, I'm gonna grab my phone and I'm gonna get to work on creating my vision board. I'm very excited.

Exploring the Shuffles App and Adding Elements to the Vision Board

Okay, so I'm actually gonna screen record the process for you so that you can have a look at what I'm doing. So I've got the Shuffles app open and one thing that I forgot to mention was this is actually linked with my Pinterest. So if you've never checked out my Pinterest before, there is a description below, but it's actually linked with my Pinterest which means that I can actually draw on like some of my existing content as you can see in here to use as like inspiration or to use the actual images inside it for my vision board. But for now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to hit the search bar because I want to find some photos and stuff that match my aesthetic. Now, anyone who's used to Pinterest will know that obviously the second you open up, it already knows what your aesthetic is right? So let's start by... I'm going to get some backgrounds, I'm gonna get a backdrop. So maybe I want to go for something like, maybe like an organic modern backdrop. Okay, so I'm going to use this marble one as my backdrop. If I change it also you'll notice head like it will cut out different parts of the marble so that you can merge it all together, but at the moment what I want to do is click on this button and actually change it so that I can get the full width of the marble. I don't want to cut anything out because I want it to be like my base layout for my vision board. So now I've got my base layer, I'm just going to go over crazy and start adding things. As I mentioned, one of the things that I want on my vision board is like anything to do with travel because I absolutely love traveling...

Focus on Travel Plans for 2023 in the Vision Board

So I'm going to type can travel first and see what comes up in terms of where in pain we're actually going next year. I've got a few plans. I want to head to... I'm going to go to Thailand in February to celebrate with my mom's 60th, so like me and my family are going, which I'm really excited for. And then in March, I'm going to be in San Diego, LA, hit me up if that's where you live. And then in April, I am hoping to be in... And then I'm probably gonna go to Italy twice next year because I am getting married in Italy in October. And then we might want to go back again before the wedding, just to do like some final bits but we don't know if we need to do that yet. So that's what I've got planned at the moment. There are some other potentials like maybe you might sneak in a quick trip to Ibiza. Who knows? Point being, that traveling is really important to me. So let me just go in a good photo which sums up all of those trips that I'm planning.

Adding Personal Touches and Event Memories to the Vision Board

Okay, I'm going to pick this one. This is of an airplane so I'm going to add this on here. Do you see how cool this is in terms of how it allows you to cut off parts of a photo, like cut them out and then overlap them? Like how cool is that? What's cool about this as well is, obviously you're layering loads of different things, so if you ever want to change the layer of stuff, you can long hold it and you see this bit down here, can you see how it moves? That is changing the layer of how each of your different graphics appear. So, I'm going to make this one at the back layers and I'm going to put this in like the top right-hand corner. Also, guys, if you find something like this where you want to use part of this cut out but not exactly how they've used it, if you click that icon there on the bottom left of the last I want it, you can actually cut out something yourself like... Today, what you can actually do in this as well, which I think will be really cool, you can add photos from your actual camera roll. So, I'm gonna find a photo from one of the events that I've done of me on stage. I feel like adding actual photos of yourself especially from a time where you were maybe really proud of yourself or you were achieving a goal is a really great way for you to easily remember what that felt like when you made progress with it in the past. So that's definitely something that I want on my vision board. So, I've got a few photos here actually that I might use... Okay, so, what am I almost there? I'm now going to create like the relationships bit, so I'm gonna have to be quite corny and add a photo of myself and Jamie...

Finalizing and Sharing the Vision Board for 2023

Because as I mentioned, we are getting married next year, right? So I just found this photo which is actually from the night that we got engaged in Tuscany...I'm gonna use that one down here. I'm gonna find a photo that represents our wedding quite well. This is very much like the star in the city that we'll be going for...I'm really like it...I'm gonna stop playing around with it because I know I'm just going to keep on changing it even though I'm so happy with how it is. So, I'm gonna click on the top right-hand corner and it will give you an opportunity to share it which I am going to do but I'm also going to click on this button the top right-hand corner because then you can export it and it gives you a few different ways to export it. So as a video as an image, you can do like a time lapse can you see where everything is added one by one which is so cool brush effect Ink Effect ah, I love them all but I really want this to be my background so I'm going to export as an image and then I'm going to save it...

Completing the Vision Board Creation Process

Okay, so I'm going to set this as my wallpaper, I'm going to set it as the backdrop I think, so give me a second and then I'll show you what it looks like and voila, that is my backdrop that is my new vision board for 2023. That was so much fun to create this is the best one that I've ever ever created. I feel like I'm gonna make loads more as well.
