Exploring Movement and Its Goals

Movement is a network of modular move-based blockchains like Aptos and SOI. Their goal is to essentially bring move to the Ethereum ecosystem with move-based ZK rollup. Remember, the overall picture here is to connect fragmented liquidity and ecosystems. That way, all blockchains will be able to talk to each other. Right, that's how you reach mass adoption. Now, Aptos and SOI have really solid tech. But in terms of liquidity, developers, users, they are still far behind the Ethereum ecosystem. So, there's an opportunity right now to scale Aptos and SOI with Movement.

The Move Drop Incentivized Test Net Campaign

Just last week, Movement's public test net went live. This incentivized test net program is called Move Drop. Okay, so Move Drop will have four different campaigns that you can participate in. The Battle of Olympus, this is for developers. Building the Parthenon, this is for everyone. For G Move campaign, it's very straightforward. You just say G Move instead of GM on Twitter. Then, they'll have another campaign coming soon called Centurion.

Step-by-Step Guide to Prepare for Movement's Test Net

The first thing you're going to want to do is to bind your Razor wallet as an EVM wallet on Galaxy. So, go ahead, download the Razor wallet, set up your seed phrase, standard procedures. Once you've set up your Razor wallet, you're going to want to switch to Movement EVM right there on Galaxy under EVM. Then you scroll down until you see Razor wallet. So, just click on Razor wallet. Then it will pop up here on EVM. So, double-check that your wallet address here on Movement EVM is the same one here under EVM on Galaxy.

Completing Quests and Earning Rewards

According to the Move Movement team, you only have to complete 10% of quests in one guild to gain recognition. Completing 10%, 25%, 50%, 70%, or 90% will allow you to earn a tier 5, tier 4, tier 3, tier 2, and the rare tier 1, respectively. Completing these quests will allow you to unlock achievement badges. Remember, even if you finish 10% now, if they add a couple more quests next week, the total amount might reduce you to like 9 or 8%. So, you're going to need to be updated on the quests and complete them as much as you can.

Analyzing User Interaction with the Movement Test Net

If you can see, right, this one, Monos, this is one of the first quests that you can do. Only 7,000 Oats minted. That means 7,000 people out of 1 million participants that are actual real users who've been interacting with this. That means only less than 1% are actually engaging with the test net airdrop. But still, this is very early. There's a lot of bugs. Maybe that's why the numbers are not as high as it is. So, the most important metric for you to decide if it's diluted or not is to find out the ratio between this number because this is the first landing page that the users are going to have to go to in order to complete those quests.
