One of my most highly requested tutorials is how to start affiliate marketing with ClickBank as a complete beginner and since you guys are so nicely, I decided to give the people what they want. In today's video, I'm gonna be giving out a comprehensive guide for beginners interested in making money online through ClickBank affiliate marketing. You're going to learn what ClickBank is, how it works, and most importantly how to drive traffic so you can maximize your earnings with your affiliate link. But first, let me quickly introduce myself to those of you who are new here. Hi, I'm Gia and I make videos on the best side hustles to help you leave your nine to five and finally live that laptop lifestyle. Pros and Cons of ClickBank

Without further ado, let's get right into the video. So what is ClickBank? For those of you who are completely new to this, ClickBank is an affiliate marketplace that allows business owners to list their products and offer a percentage of each sale to affiliate marketers that promote these products. So let's say a company puts up their products for a hundred dollars on ClickBank and they offer you an 80% commission, that means you'd be getting 80 out of every single successful referral that you're making. This is what we would call a commission. Understand that there are hundreds and thousands of different types of affiliate programs and affiliate marketplaces out there, but obviously for this video, we're going to be focusing on ClickBank specifically. Now, what are the pros and cons of ClickBank? The pros are that you get reliable payouts so you're very likely to get your earnings on time - in terms of that, they are a very reliable company. They also have a huge range of products so ClickBank offers both digital and physical products for you to promote, and they offer products in multiple niches and sub-niches so you have a ton of options for what offers to promote as an affiliate. Third is a super simple sign-up process. A plan as a ClickBank affiliate is very straightforward. You don't have to have an existing audience or follow-on, which is the case for some affiliate programs, and you don't have to go through a super long questionnaire or wait a couple of days to be approved; it's pretty much instant. The cons, however, are that it's very high competition because it's so easy to become an affiliate for this program, it means that there are a lot of other people promoting the same products that you're going to be promoting, which of course means that there's going to be a lot more competition for you. The second con is that it's not available worldwide. So even though it doesn't disclose exactly what countries are not available on ClickBank, if you read the FAQs and terms and conditions, I've been made aware by a lot of my subscribers from India and Africa that they are not allowed to open accounts with ClickBank. The third con, which I think is very important, is that a lot of the products are not the best quality. I'm going to keep it so real with you; some of these products on ClickBank are straight garbage, and they can ruin your credibility as an affiliate, so you need to be very on point with what products you're promoting. Luckily, I've got your back so I'm going to explain exactly how to find a good quality product on ClickBank shortly.

Exploring ClickBank Marketplace

Now that we've officially covered the main pros and cons, we can actually get into exploring the back end of ClickBank. Once you've created your account with ClickBank, which by the way, shouldn't take you longer than five minutes, this is what your dashboard is going to look like. If we head over to the marketplace, you can see there is a huge range of niches and categories that we can pick an offer from. From personal experience, some of the best-selling products come from the astrology, health and fitness, dating, and pet niches on here. Keep an eye out for other niches, regardless, because you might be able to find new and unsaturated products that are in the less popular niches. When you're exploring the ClickBank marketplace and trying to find the perfect offer to promote, you need to be paying attention to these key metrics. Average conversion: This figure right here is going to represent the average commission that you make per sale. The next metric is the gravity score. This gravity score right here is going to indicate how well a product is selling based on the performance of other affiliates. This is the affiliate page that the company has put together to give you resources to help you promote that product. On here, you will probably get marketing materials provided by the vendor to promote the product effectively. I personally don't use the resources from here because I always make my own on camera from scratch.

Tips for Promoting ClickBank Products

If I really need to make an ad creative because think about it, there are a lot of other people in the world that have the same bright ideas as you, and the lazy option is normally the most popular option, which means there's going to be thousands of other people out there that are using the same ad creatives as you. If you want to save money, the best thing that you can do is go to Canva and use their free templates to create ads, or you can head over to Fiverr where you can literally pay someone as little as five dollars to create an ad creative for you. But yeah, another thing that I really like to look at is the actual offer/product page. So if we head back to ClickBank and we click right here, it's going to take you right to the product page. Now, this is what your customers are seeing. I personally like to be very critical of how these product pages look because if I look at this page and I'm just like, 'This looks very scammy and I wouldn't purchase off it,' I'm not about to promote it to other people. Another thing that's very mind-boggling but I noticed that a lot of people do start out like this, and this is actually how I started out with ClickBank, is that they try to promote these very gimmicky, like weight loss products. I personally like to stray away from the magic pills and potions for weight loss because, for one, they're super competitive. The second point is something that I don't hear a lot of people touch on, but you probably will get a lot of refunds because most of these weight loss pills and potions don't even actually work. If they did, there would be a lot less unfit people; we could all just eat junk food, not work out, and then take these miraculous pills from ClickBank. Let's be so real. And I'm not saying stay away from the health and fitness niche because that is a great niche. I'm saying specifically, like the pills and potions for weight loss or whatever. A final point that I have against these is that if you go to run ads to weight loss pills and stuff, these types of products have a lot more restrictions, so as a beginner with no knowledge, you'll probably get your ad account banned, which you can't use in the future. So, I would personally stray away from that if you're completely new to this.

Leveraging Traffic for ClickBank Affiliate Marketing

This section right here is where you can generate your links so you can get right into promoting. So you can go ahead and just copy and paste this into your notes somewhere just to keep it to one side. And now we can move into the most important part, which is how do we get these products in front of the right people. Now, to get traffic to your affiliate links as a complete beginner, I personally believe that you should opt for free traffic. So what I mean by this is that you can leverage something like social media, you could create an Instagram, a TikTok, a Pinterest, a Twitter in the niche of the products that you're going to be promoting. My favorite app right now is TikTok, and the reason being is that you can be completely new to the platform and they will give you an opportunity just like everyone else to go viral. So let's say you make an account today and you post a really good quality TikTok, you have the possibility of getting hundreds of thousands of views of just that one video, and of course, the more eyes you get, the more likely you are to convert those into sales. You can literally make your first sale on TikTok within a week if you post the right video. And this is as easy as hyping up your niche name, seeing what the most popular videos within, let's say, the last 30 days on TikTok are, and then recreating them. Regardless of what free option you decide to go with, the aim of the game is to provide as much valuable content as possible to the people in the niche of your chosen product. This is going to 100% guarantee returns if you keep this one tip in mind.

Incorporating Email Marketing into Affiliate Strategy

And I'm not even gonna lie to you, I've made so much money just from my email list. One of the most beautiful feelings is knowing that you can send out an email to your audience and you know you're going to make a nice little bag instantly off it. Setting up email marketing is going to help you because some social media platforms do not allow affiliate links to be posted directly on there, and this could put your entire social media account at risk. So if you have the landing page in the middle, this is going to be what directs people to the offer so you don't run the risk of getting your social media accounts banned. These are the main points that I wanted to cover before you go off and embark on your affiliate marketing journey. Affiliate marketing with ClickBank can make you a ton of money as a complete beginner, especially with the right strategies and some dedication and consistency. Remember, the key is to focus on building traffic with high-quality content because this is ultimately what's going to get people to trust you and will make them want to make that purchase for you. Also, if you're seriously considering affiliate marketing, I 100% recommend that you watch this next video, so go ahead and click that. I hope you found this video helpful and if you have any questions at all please feel free to drop them down in the comments. I promise I'll reply to them as soon as I can. Best of luck!
