API trading means the Application Programming Interface, which is a program that enables you to connect trading platforms and Bs and enables you to navigate similar trade right here on the sex platform. It enables you to implement automated trading strategies that can enable you to make House of profit and then trade as long as 24/7 every day. So stick around, guys. In this video, I'll also be showing you guys how to go ahead and set your account and start participating in the API trade right here on the CX IEO. So don't go, stick around, guys, and do not peace out. If this is your first time joining our channel, please don't forget to go ahead and like the video, share it with your friends, and most importantly, make sure to subscribe to our channel and turn notification bell so that anytime we post a new video, you always get notified.
Before we proceed, if you want to create an account with the say platform, I will leave the link in the description for you to go ahead and create an account. And for you to find the API trading platform, all you have to do is go ahead and click on this tab right here. And after this part trading, you're going to see the trading API right here. Go ahead and click on it, and then it will automatically carry you over to this page right here. So this is the API trading homepage, and you can just go ahead and explore many documents that will help to explain everything to you right here. I'm just going to go ahead and give you an overview of what everything is all about. But then take your time and go ahead to study all the do's right here. You could always explore AI features and also read API documents. You can just take your time and read the documents to be able to get more insight of what these are all about because it's a bit complicated.
So now, like I said, API stands for Application Programming Interface, and it's an interface that helps to allow you to connect things like trading platforms, other trading platforms, and bots to the interface, and thereby allowing you to make similar trade right here and giving you opportunities to place orders in different markets simultaneously. So now, these are the different stuffs right here. And the good thing is that SII offers two different APIs right here, and these are the best APIs right in the crypto space. We have the WebSockets, the WS, and we have the REST. So now, for the WebSockets, it presents some features right here, including access to your account balance, subscription to order books on the exchange. So you can from here subscribe to get books on the exchange. You can also view your open orders, place new orders, cancel orders, view your old history, and also receive real-time Market data using the WebSocket. And for the REST, you can also be able to do things like receiving real-time price feed, you can also access price chart, view your trade history, view your account balance, view your open orders by P.A., and also cancel E.R.S. These are the things you can access using the WebSocket and the REST option right here in the SII API. These are the two best API tools right in the crypto space, and SII offers both of these. You can also be able to get more details by going ahead to read documents right here, and also documents right here for the REST one.
So now, what are the things that this API enables you to do? There are some leverages that trading APIs enable you to do, and particularly for CX. It can enable you to be able to participate in 24/7 hours of trade. That means that even when you're offline, you can be able to participate in similar trade and make profit from the market. Also, it can help you to implement automated trading strategies. So you can automate your trading so you don't personally have to be there to be able to trade. Automatically, the system will be able to trade for you with the trading API. All you need to do is go ahead and set it up, and I'm going to show you guys how to set it up at the end of the video. Now, the next one is that it will help you to obtain real-time historical Market data from the Exchange. So if you are using API trading, you'll be able to get real-time history of the market right from the exchange. You can be able to place varieties of orders simultaneously. You can be able to also receive information about your account balance. And lastly, you can be able to also integrate trading Bs and third-party trading terminals right into the CX platform. And that way, you can be able to place multiple orders at the same time right in the crypto market.
Now, before we go ahead to start talking about how to create an account, let's also go ahead and explore some other things right here before we proceed with the account creation process. So now, this is generally how to go ahead and set it up. Let like set up your account. So first of all, how to create or how to start using this API. First of all, generate your keys. That's the API Keys. Choose permission you want to give and click create API Keys. Then secondly, save the keys and secret. This information is necessary when connecting to your preferred trading platform. Once you activate the keys, a secret will be hidden. So now, they are going to give you a key which you will use whenever you want to go ahead and connect your platform to other platforms. That's your the API to other exchanges. You always need your keys. So you need to keep your keys safe so that you can always access it and it can always give you permission to connect to other trading platforms and Bs. And lastly, you need to go ahead and activate your keys. So we're going to come to that shortly.
So now, there are platforms and Bots that are supported by CX. Not all platforms and Bots are supported by CX. There are some selected platforms that are supported. So we have the shrimp.io right here. It's a platform to connect to other Exchange accounts and wallets. So we have Hash.online is also supported. This is a bot. This one Sh. is a trading platform. So you can use it to connect right here. And we also have the alpha bot right here. This one is a bot right here. We have the coingo. The coingo.io is a trading platform also. So Sh.io and coingo are exchanges. Meanwhile, the trading crypto is a bot. And also, the crypto vue is also a bot. So if you're looking for a bot to connect, you can use any of these options right here to be able to connect. And if you're using a trading platform to connect, you can use S.io or coingo right here to connect. You can see this is a cryptocurrency trading platform that allows users to manage their account in more than 20 exchanges from a single interface. So this one, Sh.io, is a platform to connect all exchange accounts and wallets so that users can manage their entire portfolio under a single outlet and monitor the market in real time. So if you want to go ahead and assess all your exchanges from one platform, you can use either the Sh.io or the Cy, but then if you want to use the bots, you can use any of these. One, you can use the Hash Online, Alpha Bot, CryptoVue, or the TradingCrypto to be able to complete and execute these orders. This is the sole aim of the API trading, to be able to connect all your exchanges in one wallet and be able to initiate and execute orders simultaneously right in the market, which will help you to pull more profit right from the market simultaneously.
Now, how do you create an account or how do you generate your keys right here to start API trading? Now, for you to get started, guys, just go ahead and click on 'Start Trading with API' right here. So if you click on it, it's going to take you over to the page where you can be able to create your API keys or you can be able to generate your API keys, and that way you can be able to start trading automatically. So this is the homepage for you to be able to generate your keys right here. You can see the interface right here: your profile, API management, trading conditions, fee schedules, and also account activities. So right here, you can be able to see: name, permissions, API keys, last updated actions. So far, we've not created any API key, so we need to go ahead and create one if you want to use one. So what you have to do: just go ahead and click on 'Create API Key' right here. So if you want to create an API key and you don't have an account to factor authentication, you need to go ahead and add it before you can proceed. So now, it will ask you to put your API key name right here. You can just go ahead and put any name. For me, let me just use 'CryptoZone'. So CryptoZone. So you can use anything you want as your API key. So permissions: what you want the API to do for you to trade, asset fund internal, yes. Asset fund wallet, yes. So you can just go ahead and put your IP whitelist right here if you want. Just go ahead and click on 'Create'. So API key should only contain letters, no numbers. Okay, so there's no numbers. I think the space right here is the issue. Just go and see it and then proceed. So there's no space in between. So it's going to ask you for your two-factor authentication code. So you just need to go ahead and enter the two-factor authentication code. Like I said, you must have binded your account with two-factor authentication for you to be able to proceed with this process. Otherwise, it won't let you proceed. So just go ahead and enter your authentication right here to be able to proceed. So I just go and enter one. So now I've entered. I'll just go and click on 'Verify'. And then it's going to load. And right now, you can see the next thing right here. You will now see API secrets again to copy it to a safe place. So here's my API name and this is my API key. API secret right here. And then the permission right here is what I granted right here. So the next thing you need to do is just go ahead right here and click 'Yes, I have copied and stored my API secret to a safe place and I understand I will not be able to access it again.' Then it will ask you if you want to do it later or then if you want to go and activate. You can just go ahead and click 'Activate'. You want to activate now and automatically to be activated. But so far, I've not saved my API key so I have not activated yet. But then once you click on 'Activate', automatically your API trading keys will be created and you can go ahead to start your API trading and start connecting platforms and to trade right here. So guys, that's basically how everything works. So I just go ahead and do my own later because I've not saved my secret right now. You can right-click 'Crypto' was created but not activated. So I'll do everything later on. So that's how it works right here, guys. If you have any questions about the API trading, ask in the comment section and I'll be glad to give back to you. You can always leave questions for me on Telegram and I'll do my best to ask you. Thanks for watching.
