Now mellow Metric is one of the guys we followed for every day news and updates on the current meta for meme coins and every day he would post about memes but today he branched out and say all eyes are on Tron and this is what has been happening right now, guys. So first of all, is it worth playing Tron meme coins in the short term to midterm for me? Then, second of all, more important for me is, will liquidity flow back to Solana? Because as we're seeing right now today, very low liquidity on Solana. We can see that if you go to DexSiner 24-hour volume, this is the first time in a while that I see that it's lower than a billion dollars really ever. Sun's actually sucking volume out. Yeah, look at this. We look at the past three months. Right now, this is where volume's at for Solana - 800 million today. And look at Tron. Tron, oh man, two big fat candles in terms of volume for the past two days. Did they beat like the other chains on this? No. In terms of volume, Tron is still far behind Ethereum, Solana, BNB, even some L2s as well. So, it's still far behind, like in terms of volume, it's only like 100 Mil. That's not that improvement - this is zero to 100 just because of what happened in the past two days of Sun pump. How did that even come about? How did that happen? Where did it all start? It starts with Justin Sun basically coming out with a huge incentive program for Sun pump. I think they're doing this to compete with pump. Fund because last month pump. Fund made it so that anyone can make a pump fun token for free before that it was you need to pay, I think 0.2 soul, but now that they've reduced it to just, you know, zero Soul. You don't even need to pay for fees. You can go in there and just make any coin you want. You don't need to be competitive and lose that 0.2 Soul if it's not going to take off. If it does hit radium, then you get 0.5. So, they're basically just copying this idea but they’re throwing even more incentive program here. This is catered to creators specifically because if you have a good meme coin that will meet the same criteria as well, if it hits 69k in mark in the bonding curve, it'll hit Sun Swap. And that's when those memes will be able to start trading publicly on Sun Swap.
Like that's a crypto community there, right? People are kind of banking on this idea that Justin is going to inject funds there. Now, we do know we're a little bit skeptical of Justin, right? because we've been in this space for a long time. You know, whenever he announces an incentivized program, you know, he's going to rug some of the funds, okay? He's not gonna—it's not that big, okay, it's not going to be 10 million big, okay? We're gonna discount it slightly. Let's say even if it's like 5 million or 2 or 3 million, there's still an incentive for creators to come and create interesting memes there. Now, what I'm interested in, like for me, there's two aspects. Can he get a different community from just the Solana community? 'Cause, you can engage in that community, then that could be interesting. Right, because, yeah, again, there are new people coming in to play memes and if there's new blood, there's always new exciting action and there's more money, right? I feel like that's why all the memeta guys, the guys in the trenches, are looking at this as, you know, hey, let's see if grass is kinder on the other side.
Let's take a look at Sunum website, yeah, so is it, does it look exactly the same as the, it's a lot cleaner than CLE really. But if you go to pump, fun, it's always like this, right? It's so hard to see what's going on. But, yet, it's already the most popular, they're the first, right? So yeah, they're the first exactly. So I think in terms of if you want speed, this is kind of losing out. In terms of, if you're comparing this to pump, fun, that is, unless if there's a platform like Bull X, do you think there's more like quality here? Do you think there's like, because it's so new, do you think there's higher quality? That's hard to say, but it's a lot of, like, there's so many monkey, yeah, yeah. There's a lot of wordplay you can make with Sun. Yeah, there's a lot of wordplay there. You know, maybe we should just dive in and like play, you know. Me? No, no, Martin. Martin should try. I think he should just try playing, like, start off with like, 50 bucks or something and then see if that works well. I'm definitely going to look at it first, yeah.
I'm, I was very curious. Let's take a look side by side. We can see that the Tron meme points, they're trying to establish something new, something fresh that we're not seeing in Solana. But it's hard to pick these things up. It's hard to create a new trend, like a new culture, yes, in terms of culture. Yeah, Solana's like, racism, brain rot. Solana and Tron are looking pretty different from the meta we're seeing on Solana. Yeah, for sure, Solana, it's a different language. It doesn't look the same. I know what you mean, but So explain that. I was curious. Interesting guys if you know any like, bubble Maps for Tron let me know. I want to see, I want to see how linked these wallets are. Yeah, super linked bro, super linked. You're playing against the house. The house is Justin exactly. Interesting. Top Blast, now and you die. The metaphor. Wow, okay. So, he pumped it very likely injected his own funds into it to pump it. It was this candle here he pumped it yeah, he probably pumped it and pumped it more. So, basically his tweets can get something up to 12 million market cap. Let's see what else is Justin's tweeting about, huh, oh my god, shameless shameless. Only fair launches but Tron meme reminds me of BSC coining in 2021. So, I guess that's also one of the reasons why people want this platform is because the bots and stuff aren't set up yet. So, it feels like more like a fair, that's true, fair game. Not exactly, I think it favors Justin more obviously. It favors Justin, right? Yeah, like the other sharks aren't there, just a one big shark. And as long as you watch out for that one big shark, yeah, the other smaller sharks aren't going to eat you alive. Right, yeah. Right now is the insider sharks 'cause the first token on Sun pump is Sundog I think, and there was a lot of big influencers who got in this early. They even have their own Tron trading bot called Sunbot. So, I think they're building, is not. We'll see in the next few weeks if bot activities will start ramping up on Tron, right? 'Cause Solana, that was a big problem snipers, right? There's no one really trading on Tron, like, if you think about it. What's Tron famous for? USDT, yeah, USDT, that's it. It's the right, like, yeah, it's speed and that's the only thing we use Tron for. I've never used Tron for anything else other than USDT, right? Yeah, like, that's the only use, right? So, I think Tron is in dire need of a use case. So yet again, I think going after the meme meta makes sense from a strategic perspective. Like, at least I have some other purpose now, right? I mean, how do you even trade on Tron like I don't even know, right?
