Successful Side Hustles

I've tried and researched over 500 side hustles in the last 24 years, and I've spent a lot of time on side hustles that didn't work at all. But there are some that I've discovered over the years that have made me consistent income for many, many years. These I actually want to recommend to you today. The nice thing is you can get started with all of them for little to no money, yet they have the potential to make you a full-time income, and even more. I strongly believe that anyone, despite your lack of skill skills or experience, can succeed at these, just like I have. So let's start going through them one by one now.

Side Hustles to Avoid

Before I get into the ones that can make a substantial amount of money for you, I want to cover some of them that you definitely want you to not waste your time on. The first one that I see a lot is generating massive websites filled with computer-generated content. Now, I tried this in the past and there are people still trying to do this today. It used to work somewhat, but now there are so many people generating these sites that it really doesn't work anymore. So you might see YouTube videos out there saying that you can click a button, create a site with like 10,000 pages, and start getting traffic from Google right away. Don't waste your time on that; it doesn't work.

Outdated Money-Making Methods

The second thing that used to work really well, and I even did it myself, was called the Google cash method. In this method, you actually bought traffic from Google ads for very cheap and then you immediately sent it over to an affiliate link where you would get paid a commission for selling somebody else's product. You never had a website or anything; you just sent traffic directly from your paid ads directly to someone else's site and you took a commission in between. That used to work, but now Google ads have become very expensive, so it doesn't work anymore, even though some people are still out there acting like it works and training people and claiming to people that it works.

The Pitfalls of Link Spamming

The third thing that used to work that a lot of people used to do is link spamming. You might see out there YouTube videos or software packages that claim that you can click a couple of buttons and send millions of backlinks to your website and instantly be ranked at the top of Google. This is the kind of thing that used to work many years ago, and many people are still acting like it works. And they might sell you training and software that acts like it works, but it's not going to work. It's going to get you spanked by Google, and I've personally been spanked by Google many times doing this.

Success with Email Marketing

But now let's jump into some ideas that have actually worked for me in the past and are still working for me currently. The first one is building an email list. Now you might hear people saying, "I never check my email; email marketing doesn't work anymore." That's something used to work in the past that is not true. To this day, email marketing is one of the things that makes me the most money out of anything that I do in my online business. I started doing email marketing over 10 years ago, and I'm still making money using almost the exact same techniques with email marketing that I did way back then.
