Hi guys, today is the day that I am hosting an event for YouTube. It's YouTube's Boss and Bloom event. I am genuinely so excited. Like, I honestly don't feel nervous yet. I'm sure the nerves will come. Nerves are good. Nerves mean that you're doing something exciting, most of the time. So, I don't actually feel nervous yet, but I am quite excited. Annoyingly, I have a nail appointment like two hours before I need to leave to go to YouTube's office. Which means I need to get ready. My throat is bad. I need to work on that which means I need to get ready properly before my nail appointment.
Honestly, the ladies at my nail shop are not even gonna recognize me because usually I just walk in like a tracksuit, no makeup. And today I'm gonna walk in like full face. So, I'm gonna just get ready now and then maybe do a bit of admin.
Please ignore the mess of this room, all the clothes on the floor. We're actually going to Italy. Oh my god, I almost forgot where we're going. We're going to Italy on Saturday. Specifically Tuscany because that's where me and Jamie are getting married. We got engaged in Tuscany last year and we're getting married in Tuscany next year. So, we're gonna go out, look at the venue, meet our wedding planner, do some tastings, and just chill in Tuscany which I'm so excited for.
The dry run is done and I'm feeling super confident. I have this thing whenever I'm doing something that is slightly out of my comfort zone which I try to do stuff like that as much as I can but there's so much mindset work I feel like you have to do around it. Like, I really feel like whatever you tell yourself in regards to how this thing that you're doing is going to go really becomes like a self-fulfilling prophecy. If I tell myself, "Oh, I'm really nervous and I'm gonna mess this up and it's not gonna go well," then I'm probably gonna be nervous and I'm probably gonna mess it up.
Okay, I'm in the green room and the event is done. My cab is outside so I really need to hurry up but I wanted to give you an update. I cannot get over how well that went. So well and also I really enjoyed it. Like, I genuinely really enjoyed it. I like, want to do it again. I feel like I've found like a new passion of mine. Maybe I've just had a few too many proseccos and like rum cocktails, I don't know.
Hey guys, it's the next day. I thought today was going to be like a really chilled. Oh, ice cream van. I thought today was a really chill day and I've literally been working flat out for like six hours. But I think I'm pretty much done, ready for my holiday tomorrow and just feeling really good about how yesterday went. Like, I've had so many nice dms from people and the organizers of the event seemed really pleased. And I just really enjoyed it. I just really enjoyed the process of hosting a panel like it was genuinely really fun. So yeah, feeling good. Gonna sign off here. Thank you so much for watching. I can't.
